It’s been a busy start to the year for the team at Hornby Whitefoot PR as three new clients join the company’s client roster.
Joining the Hornby Whitefoot ‘family’ are Woodlodge, Sipcam and SeedCell®, helping to further cement Hornby Whitefoot’s reputation as the ‘go to’ PR agency for the garden, home and leisure industries.
The team made up of Managing Director, Kimberley Hornby, PR Account Director, Cassie King and PR Account Manager, Robbie Cumming, has been appointed to lead and deliver cost effective and creative multifaceted B2B and B2C campaigns for each of these new clients. Hornby Whitefoot will be the main interface with the media with the aim being to generate coverage in print, online, broadcast, as well as through social conversations.
Woodlodge, is the UK’s leading supplier of garden pots, experts in horticulture products and gardenware, distributing to over 2,000 garden retailers across the country. The company has seen a phenomenal period of growth with sales of over £20 million in 2017, up from £11.5 million four years ago. HWPR will be helping to maintain and increase Woodlodge’s profile as the market leader even further within the trade and consumer media landscape, promoting their new, innovative ranges to both retailers and end users.
HWPR will also be representing Sipcam UK, one of the world’s leading plant technology companies, promoting their Ecofective®range of environmentally sensitive feed, weed and control products. Launched in 2016, Ecofective is a new brand that uses the latest biotechnologies to bring effective alternatives to conventional pesticides, biocides and fertilisers to the everyday gardener. With customers taking an increasing interest in the ethical practices of what they buy, HWPR will be using this environmentally responsible USP to build consumer trust in Ecofective’s products, as well as encouraging wider retailer pick-up
SeedCell® will also be joining the portfolio with HWPR reaching out to non-gardeners to promote the only fully biodegradable, peat-free seed pod in the world. The award winning SeedCell products allow everyone and anyone to grow their own fresh herbs and vegetables from seed without having to be an expert. Ideal for novices, the ranges make gardening more accessible for everyone, making it easier to add fresh ingredients straight from plant to plate.
Managing Director, Kimberley Hornby said: “What a fantastic start to the year it has been! My team and I have worked hard to create an agency that continues to serve the industries we represent, and these latest clients are proof that we’re hitting the right spot. But more than this, we are just excited to start working with our newest clients. All three are superb brands and we are looking forward to helping take them to the next level. Expect to see a lot more from them in the coming months – 2018 is set to be a big year!”
