Bridge Greenhouses, specialists in constructing and equipping controlled environment facilities, has announced it will be exhibiting at the 7th International Controlled Environment Conference in 2026.

Hosted from 6^th to 9^th September jointly at the University of Edinburgh and The James Hutton Institute in Dundee, the event brings together researchers, scientists, and industry professionals from all over the world to explore the latest developments in controlled environment agriculture.

Bridge Greenhouses will be exhibiting to showcase their advanced greenhouses which are designed to help research institutes and commercial growers achieve precise, stable climates for a wide range of crops and trials.

Organised by the UK Controlled Environment Users' Group (CEUG), which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, the conference features expert sessions, facility tours, and networking. This year’s theme is ‘Technology for Efficiency in Controlled Environment Agriculture’.

David Summerfield will also contribute to the scientific programme, delivering a presentation titled 'Current and Future Glasshouse Trends'.

“Summers are getting hotter, drier and increasingly hard for crop production. Events like this are important for showcasing how environmentally-controlled structures help address ongoing weather uncertainty and support a more resilient horticulture,” adds David.
