Wham's bumper harvest from Autumn Fair

Britain's leading manufacturer of plastic housewares, What More UK, reports an excellent and encouraging response from its presence at the annual Autumn Fair at the NEC, Birmingham.

Returning to the autumn trade fair after an absence of 10 years, the Lancashire-based firm behind the renowned ‘Wham' brand was kept exceptionally busy on its spacious custom-built exhibition stand over the full four days of the event, from September 6th to 9th.

"We experienced high numbers of both visitors to our stand and orders taken throughout Autumn Fair 2015," reported delighted What More director Tony Grimshaw.

"Most evident of all was a renewed sense of optimism among exhibitors and buyers alike - there was a very upbeat feel to the event and this, combined with the excellent business we did on the stand, is very encouraging."

As well as its ever-popular and huge range of plastic storage solutions and housewares, What More gave a particular focus on its more recent and expanding ‘Wham Cook' range of non-stick and enamel bakeware.

"The ‘Great British Bake Off' factor was definitely in the air," added Grimshaw. "Our keenly priced Wham Cook range had buyers flocking to the stand and also taking a keen interest in our recently acquired PushPan bakeware products. You could almost smell the cakes baking!"

Recognised as the season's number one homewares and gift trade event, Autumn Fair features more than 1,400 exhibitors and attracts almost 30,000 visitors from the UK and abroad, including buyers from key multiples, independents, online retailers and department stores.

"It was a very rewarding experience for us and a great way to showcase the ever growing Wham product range," said Grimshaw. "We've already booked our place at Autumn Fair 2016."
